ESRAG is uniquely placed to help facilitate the implementation of awesome projects around the world including our region here in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
BUT…we NEED your help urgently.
Our first key step is to get as many Environmental Projects uploaded onto the system so we can showcase them similar to the Recycled Playgrounds Project to the right.

Rotary Overseas Recycled Playgrounds: Flemington-Kensington, 9800, Victoria, Australia
We collect unwanted playgrounds from councils and schools and sends them to disadvantaged overseas communities. Starting with a single playground to a girls school in Sri Lanka, this project has now collected over 40 playgrounds from across Victoria and sent them to Timor Leste, the Philippines and Tanzania as well as Sri Lanka.

REASONS WE NEED YOUR HELP
When Rotary Clubs are aware of the benefits of registering their projects, they will take responsibility and do it directly. Our aim is to have an Environmental Sustainability Committee in each District and an ESRAG Member in each Club, who will encourage this.
Today many Clubs are unaware that ESRAG or an ANZPI website exists. Our starting point is to encourage all ESRAG Members and District Environmental Sustainability Committee Members in the Zone, to register their Clubs project. We need to identify the person in each Club who is going to do this.
For the other Clubs we need to be proactive and identify projects that have been published. We will use the information to create a draft project registration. It will contain as much as we know about the project. We will then contact the Club, introduce them to the ANZPI website and the draft project page, for them to update and authorize publishing.
There are several information sources and we want to develop teams to take the responsibility to check the sources and summit the draft project forms.
We will soon be adding a directory of ANZPI Clubs and Districts. If you can take responsibility to collect information for any element, we will be very grateful.
